I LOVE this artist's work. There's such an exuberance for the daily public space that we all use without really thinking about it. Remember the name: Caroline Woolard. She's behind this seating:

I love this. It's amazing how obvious great ideas are when someone else thinks them up...
Yeah, the simplest things are the hardest.
Very cool. I love the idea of adapting to space, personalizing it for a temporary amount of time. It reminds me a bit of the people I saw in Japan who had fold-up stools that they'd use to sit on while on the train. I've seen this once or twice in NYC, but it's not common here...
