In Williamsburg and Greenpoint, developers are hoping to pour concrete for their 16 story towers, before the City Planning Office's plan, which calls for 4-6 story buildings, takes effect. The community have been pulling together to find ways of slowing down the developers, especially when the developers haven't, of course, ignored checking in with the community in the first place. whats the big deal,it will make the neighborhood a landbmark as its been already dubbed "the finger bldg",imagine manhattan 50 to 100 years ago...where would we all be if they stayed under 50 feet tall....you guys are just making trouble...leave the JEW alone.... its legal and it will be a fact he ground.
